    I was only thinking the other day how when my mother was young [so she said] children should be seen and not heard. Sadly when I young it seemed that children should drugged and undressed. Today, I am not a victim - I am a survivor: I have God and the twelve step program of Alcoholics Anonymous to guide me through life.

 It's sure been a while since I thought about doing my blog-OOPS!

 ME: I don't like flying my dear [in my best WC Fields voice]

 COUSIN: Why not Jester ?

 ME: I was flying over canvas and had a terrible accident.

 COUSIN: Don't you mean Kansas,Jester ?

 ME: No my dear,I imbibed a while with the roustabouts and thought that I should try out for the human cannonball and it went horribly wrong.

 COUSIN: What happened Jester ?

 ME: As sure as God gave man the corkscrew,the next thing I knew I was sailing over the big top and crashing into someone's living room.It caused quite a bit of damage to the house but as luck would have it the liquor cabinet was unlocked so that I was able to ensure that the contents had not been shaken unduly and spoiled.
